Architecture begins with purpose. I build from there — cloud infrastructure, security, and the networks that connect software and machines. The structure matters: how the parts fit, where authority resides, and what remains standing when a component fails.
My work and experiments extend into decentralized systems and autonomous services. Control is distributed among independent participants. Services coordinate work through defined protocols, adapt to changing conditions, and recover within explicit limits. Trust, ownership, and failure are design decisions, settled in the architecture and tested in operation.
Independence is a design principle. Every dependency earns its place. I value systems whose workings can be understood, whose boundaries can be defended, and whose operation remains in the hands of the people who rely on them.
The projects and writing here document that work: cloud and security engineering, distributed protocols, embedded hardware, and radio. They record the structures, the decisions behind them, and what holds up in practice.
